Happy Independence Day!

Who has big 4th of July plans? We thought we were going to spend a relaxing day not doing much of anything, and then ended up signing up for two cookouts! We’re stoked! I also plan to spend the morning laying out on my back porch reading The Underland Chronicles and David plans to play video games non-stop.

Last night we walked around downtown waiting for the fireworks to start after the baseball game. We discovered too late it was incredibly stupid to include the dog on this walk… Oh well. He didn’t like the fireworks, but I don’t think he’s scarred for life. But I did get this cute picture of David and his dad watching the end of the baseball game through the fence (two people farthest left).
