Tourists In Our Own Town
Last weekend David and I spent some time in Seattle doing touristy things. We went and saw the Freemont Troll since he had never seen it, then drove over to the Chittendale Locks to see some salmon swim up the ladder and some boats float through the canal.
It took about 15 minutes of solid persistence for me to get this picture of the troll with no children climbing on top of it (and even then it needed the slightest bit if cropping), but it was totally worth it. I mean, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Larisa Oleynik stood here, guys! It was worth it!
It was a beautiful day to walk around the locks. David and I did it in our typical 20 minute fashion. Look! Locks! Look! Salmon! Look! Boats! And we’re done. We know how to have a good time and not get toasty hot.
It was fun to see all the babes and pups running around Seattle I can’t wait to do dorky touristy things with our babe, and maybe our pup (he generally loves people too much to be in a crowd but not get any attention). Fun times ahead!
